Martye Kendrick focuses her real estate practice on a full range of commercial and residential real estate matters, including development of unimproved property, leasing and operation of improved property, acquisitions and dispositions, easement and right-of-way acquisitions, land use, annexation and condemnation.
Martye has extensive experience in corporate and real estate financing matters, representing developer borrowers in senior and permanent loan transactions secured by real estate and other collateral in addition to representing institutional investors, insurance companies and borrowers in senior, mezzanine, permanent and floating loan transactions also secured by real estate and other collateral.
In addition to her private structured finance transactions, Martye has experience handling public tax-exempt finance transactions as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, special tax counsel and underwriter’s counsel to school districts, cities, and special purpose districts in connection with a wide range of their tax-exempt bond financings.
Martye also has experience representing municipal utility districts and other water districts, water supply corporations, public utilities and cities, and advises her public law and city clients at the board and city council level.
